So I had a pretty bad night and thought maybe a movie might cheer me up, so I asked Rob if he wanted to watch Wild Zero tonight, and it instantly put me in a better mood. Hmm where to start.. It's a Japanese Rock 'n' Roll Alien Zombie Transgender Love Story... It has everything; it's really funny, there's some gross gory bits, the musics fun. It just puts you in a good mood. It stars the (real life) band Guitar Wolf as the hero. This isn't like some cinematic masterpiece, it's just a fun watch. You can see where the movie took inspiration from but at the same time I've never seen anything quite like it. This is the first movie I've watched this month that I hadn't already seen before, I really enjoyed it. I almost forgot to mention, the main villain is some creepy dude that has a penchant for wearing hot pants, tiny tiny hot pants, the kind that lace up on the side, yeah....

such a fun silly ass movie! overall good soundtrack aswell. i dunno with that strut i don't think there was any other option besides lace up hot pants. we need to watch burst city next!!

DeleteI saw this years ago and loved it but forgot the name! It's kind of ridiculous in the best way possible, I really need to watch it again.
